The McGill Clinical Education modules (Supervisory Practice Modules) in English result from a collaboration with the Consortium National de Formation en Santé – Université d’Ottawa (www.cnfs.ca/uOttawa). The first four modules (Basics of Supervision, Building a Climate of Trust, Learning Styles, and Performance Evaluation) are a translation of the French modules (http://formations.cnfs.ca/formation-a-la-supervision) developed by the Consortium with some revised content by the McGill Training and Retention of Health Professionals Project. The fifth module (Advanced Supervisory Practice) is new material that was prepared exclusively by the Training and Retention of Health Professionals Project at McGill University. The module format has been adapted from the original translation for asynchronous use in an open platform.
